Tunisia participates in the Paralympic Games (Tokyo 2020+1) with three sports, Para Athletics, Para Table Tennis and Para Triathlon, in an unprecedented achievement after the previous participation since the Seoul 1988 Games was limited to athletics.

Tunisia will enter the Paralympic bet with a list of 26 athletes in total, in which the lion’s share is in athletics with 24 athletes (14 in the female category and 10 in the male category), including a group of champions who have been shining and embracing the coronation in such big dates, such as Walid Katila, Rawaa Tlili and Somaya Al-Busaidi, Haniya Al-Aydi, Rima Al-Abdali, Rajaa Al-Jabali and Muhammad Farhat Shaida

In parallel with these broad ambitions that will accompany the participation of elite athletics, attention will turn during the Tokyo Games to the duo Karim Ghersallah in table tennis and Fathi Al-Zwainkhi in triathlon in their quest to confirm their distinguished results recently after Karim Ghersallah won the African title in the Egypt Games 2020, and Fathi Al-Zwainkhi’s success last June in winning the gold of the African Championship in Egypt and the silver of the World Cup in Spain.
